It is believed that the death toll has increase in an attack on communities in Langtang South Local Government of Plateau State has risen to 70, and this is in addition to the over 7,000 that have been displaced.

Hon. Beni Lar, Member representing Langtang North/South Constituency in the House of Representatives, who confirmed this during a visit to the affected parts, said several people were still missing.

She said, “From what I gathered, the Divisional Crime Officer is still missing, seven thousand people were displaced, while almost 70 lost their lives.

Boko Haram leader Imam Abubakar Shekau has made another video appearance, daring the United States and others.

He said none of the world powers could locate his whereabouts, no matter how hard they try. Besides, Shekau vowed that the sect would attack Abuja – the seat of the government and the refineries – the symbol of Nigeria’s economic power.

In a 56-minute video in which Shekau mixed Arabic, Hausa, English and Kanuri, he declared war against those he described as infidels, including Christians.

The crazy house in Germany that was built upside down [PHOTOS]

This is one of the more unusual tourist attractions we’ve seen — a house that was built completely upside down in Affoldern, Germany.

Reuters has photos of the house, which took six weeks to build and cost about 200,000 euros ($277,000 US). General view of the ‘Crazy House’ (pictured above), which is completely built upside-down, in the village of Affoldern near the Edersee lake, May 7, 2014.

Upside-down houses have been constructed all over the world — they can also been found in China, Russia, and Austria.

The inverted furnishings can be extremely disorienting.

Two baby girls in one body: Australian woman gives birth to conjoined twin girls [Photos]

An Australian woman has miraculously given birth to conjoined twins with one body and two brains despite doctors initially telling them to terminate the pregnancy.

Renee Young and Simon Howie, of Tregear in Sydney's west, welcomed their daughters on Thursday six weeks before they were due.

The couple, who found out via an ultrasound that the twins they were expecting was in fact one child with two symmetrical faces and two brains connected to the one brain stem, said doctors were shocked by the girls' exceptional progress.
