From The Blogger's Desk: #JungleJustice

I am so sick and tired of this rampant jungle justice! Nigerians now take laws into their own hands! Why are we so archaic and barbaric?! Are we cannibals? Take a look at the serial case of ruthless homicides.

Just last month, two mad men in Ibadan were dubbed 'ritualists' because they had human tongues in their possession. Mauled and burned to death, only for doctors to discover the tongues were animal's, those two mad men were murdered for nothing.
Another case is that of the 12 year old that was beaten and set ablaze. According to the perpetrators,he was trying to lure kids with biscuit to kidnap them

What about the 'Aluu 4'? Still fresh in my memory. Four innocent youths cut down in their prime.

Just yesterday, a woman in lagos was stripped naked, beaten and burnt to death for allegedly attempting kidnap,i write this in tears. Why are we doing this to ourselves??? Why this anarchy? Why take away someone's fundamental human rights? What happened to the right to fair hearing? It's high time a strict law against jungle justice is enforced? Perpetrators must get capital punishment including onlookers who take pictures! They should be made accomplice. We are trying to fight Boko Haram and terrorism but we have terrorists living amongst us and we wonder why we are not winning the war against terrorism.
Kai!!! my heart bleeds for Nigeria! The UN and the International community should focus on Nigeria and stop this barbaric act that is spoiling our good name.
