Dasuki To Replace Speaker Tambuwal

Since he has clinched the APC governorship ticket in Sokoto State, Speaker Aminu Tambuwal will not be returning to the National Assembly. A member of the State House of Assembly, Abdussamad Dasuki, has picked the party's ticket for the Kebbe-Tambuwal Federal Constituency.

If Dasuki wins the February 2015 election, he will succeed Rt. Hon. Tambuwal, who has been on the seat for the past eight years.

Dasuki is the chairman of Finance and Appropriation committee of the Sokoto House of Assembly.
